Our boat is more than 25 years old. Not much of it is “new” but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t more ready, reliable and redundantly prepared to go than it has ever been. Zephyrus today is the best version of itself, PERIOD. When systems need attention, they are not just returned to their previous state, they are upgraded and improved. As a classic coastal cruiser that has been from British Columbia to Mexico a few times, it is in its state of excellence. Juggling our desire to always be ready for a fun outing, while constantly improving the boat is our spot.
Our boat is generally always in a state of upgrade. That being said, it is also always prepared to get off the dock at a moment’s notice. Fuel and water are generally full; the fridge and cupboards are stocked with whatever we might need to get away for a day or two and we have clean boat clothes aboard that stay aboard. Essentially, Zephyrus is ready to go with Food, Clothing and Shelter.

Cruising Outfitters was founded on the premise that getting the most out of one’s sailboat cruising experience requires a solid understanding of both our abilities and that of our cruising boat.
